Well-known professional to support Pattern Computer’s next stage of operations

REDMOND, WA, July 19, 2023 — Pattern Computer®, Inc. (“Pattern” or “the Company”) today announced the appointment of Laura Guerrant-Oiye as Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, effective today, July 19, 2023. Reporting to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Mark Anderson, she succeeds co-founder Brad Holtz, who is retiring after seven years with the Company. Mr. Holtz will remain with the Company as a Contractor to ensure a smooth transition.

Mr. Holtz commented, “We’re planning for the next evolution of the Company, and have significant opportunities in front of us, including the potential for joint-ventures, spinouts (IPO or otherwise). It’s important that we have a well-seasoned professional to support our current and future investors through this journey. As a co-founder, I’ve done my best to support these activities, but as I turn to retirement, we are at the stage where we need to put new leadership in charge of these activities. Laura is exactly the right person to lead us forward.”

“We are pleased to welcome Laura to Pattern,” said Mark R. Anderson, chief executive officer. “She is a highly respected investor relations professional, whose experience we will leverage as we work with investors and the capital markets to communicate our strategic growth priorities.” Mr. Anderson added, “I want to extend my deepest thanks to Brad for his many contributions to Pattern. He has been with the Company since its inception and has served in many capacities over the years, all while building a solid IR function. His depth of knowledge and passion for Pattern have been essential in elucidating our strategy and value proposition to the financial community. We wish him the best in his retirement.”

“I am excited to be part of a team that is the global leader in Pattern Discovery,” said Ms. Guerrant-Oiye. “Through transformative machine learning, Pattern is solving the most pressing health and societal problems, and I look forward to elevating the Company’s visibility with the global investment community as we continue to deliver on the Company’s strategy to drive growth through innovation.”

Ms. Guerrant-Oiye brings over three decades of corporate, consulting, and leadership experience to her role at Pattern, during which she has cultivated broad experiences with a foundation in effective executive leadership, board governance, and capital market relationships. In addition to high-level responsibilities at several private firms, she spent over 20 years as the principal and owner of Guerrant Associates, a boutique IR & corporate communications advisory practice which served companies in the technology, industrials and life sciences industries. Laura is a member of the board of directors for Intro-act, an artificial intelligence platform reinventing targeting and corporate access in the post-MiFID II era, and is a strategic advisor to InvestorCom, a leading independent full-service shareholder intelligence and proxy solicitation firm.

She is a recognized leader in the IR community. She served on the Silicon Valley Chapter’s Board of Directors for the National Institute of Investor Relations (NIRI). She is a founding officer of the NIRI Virtual Chapter, the largest chapter in the organization, and is a recipient of the NIRI Leadership Award.
